Pelican Launches Pelican-Hardigg™ Composite 19” Rackmount Cases

Pelican Products, the global leader in the design and manufacture of advanced lighting systems and virtually indestructible cases, has launched a full range of Pelican-Hardigg™ brand composite rack mount cases as a tough, rigid and lightweight electronics protection solution.

Engineered with an extremely resilient GMT (Glass Mat Thermoplastic) composite shell, Pelican-Hardigg composite Rackmount cases provide greater rigidity than non-reinforced products and are chemically resistant to most fuels, solvents, contaminants and decontaminants.

They have color pigmentation impregnated throughout the shell so that it doesn’t require painting and resists scratches. Additionally, the GMT shell boasts a broad temperature performance to withstand -53.89° C to 85° C.

Available in a range of 3 Unit – 14 Unit sizes, the cases include a slide out metal frame to mount servers and other electronic units and dual lids for easy access to electronic equipment during installation and operation. Additional standard features include a choice of black, desert tan or OD green, black oxide stainless steel latches, 7.6 centimeter depth lids, 4 handles, and an M6 or 10/32 ANSI hole pattern.

Optional features include stainless steel hardware, 12.7 centimeter lids (3-9U only), lid pouches, lid hangers, stacking latches (per set of 2), nut bars from 3U to 9U, padlock bars for 7.6 and 12.7 centimeter lids, 10/32 and ¼-twenty channel nuts.

Pelican-Hardigg™ also offers a wide range of Rackmount Cases engineered with tough rotationally molded exteriors to take repeated drops, blows and soakings while protecting sensitive electronic gear. Built to last with stainless steel hardware and versatile removable rack systems, their Classic Rack, SuperMAC, MAC Rack and Pro Rack series cases can be scaled up or down to meet the rugged transportation needs of just about any size operation.

Canberra Store Opening

LEGEAR launched its second retail store in Canberra on the 15th June 2011.  Dan Costa CEO of 5.11 Tactical Officially opened the store.  There were some great deals to be had on the day and a BBQ.  over 600 people visited us at our opening.  It was great to meet many of the customers that have supported LEGEAR over the years face to face.  LEGEAR is in Canberra for the long haul so feel free to drop by and visit us.
